Himanshu Patel, D.O. joined Arthritis Centers of Texas in 2005. He completed undergraduate training with a B.A. in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas.He continued his training at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, completing a two year fellowship in Rheumatology. He is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Patel is interested in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and Osteoporosis.

In addition to patient care in the clinic, he is also a faculty member at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Dallas County Medical Society.
